I love working on water reflections in my landscape paintings. When I first started painting landscapes I was so scared that I would never be able to pull it off. I was trying too hard to be perfect, to be realistic. Someone once told me that if you want realism then take a photo and that stuck to me. That is when I decided to give in to my feelings, to my thoughts, what I wanted to convey with my paintings. Who was I doing it for? Mostly for me, but also for the viewer. I want the viewer to experience simplicity, freedom, and happiness when looking at my paintings.
