I am fortunate enough to live on the Sturgeon River, which flows into Lake Nipissing. I am not comfortable in the water, but I do find comfort living by the water. There is something soothing about the flow, the stillness on a quiet day, the waves on a rough day. It is all so beautiful. Our lives are filled with ups and downs, and the river mimics that also. It has ups and downs. Listening to the singing trees, and the waves breaking upon the rocky shores, what more could you ask for. When I was younger I could not wait to be in the hustle and bustle of city life, where the action was. Now that I am older I know that the real action is in the natural environment.
