Summer is a busy time for Shirley Rose Cockburn at Cockburnstudio

It has been several months since I retired from Northland Traders in Temagami, Ontario. 

I have spent some of my time in my studio creating new artworks.  But this being summer means lots of time at Cockburn Island chilling and enjoying the view of Lake Nipissing.  I still find time to create new posts on social media, draw in my sketchbook, follow up on artists that I admire, and search for inspiring material for new paintings. 

I'd like to hear what you have been doing so far this summer.  Has it been quiet?  Have you visited with family and friends more than usual?  Have you gone away on a holiday?
