1474 Canadian Icon 1-23. The iconic windswept pine can be found in northern Ontario's natural landscape. I love painting this beautiful tree and add it to most of the landscape scenes that I paint. I add bold colors to my paintings to give the scene a vitality which is felt when I spend time in nature.
