Purple trees, green trees, blue trees, pink rocks, blue rocks, colors, colors, colors. The joys of being an artist. Being an artist teaches you to push the boundaries of what is real, and what you feel is real. Everyone sees differently. I recall sitting at a round table with twenty other students with a still life displayed. We all had the same image to paint from. When it came time to show and tell not one painting of the still life was remotely the same. We had all seen the still life differently. That day taught me so much, and to be more accepting of other people's views. I see what I see, experience life differently. I can only hope that my art will offer the viewer another view of life, spark a feeling that wasn't there before.
