I like the shifty eye on this seagull... this is part of my bird series on small canvasses - I see seagulls every single day, be it in town, in the field behind our house, or at Cockburn Island where we spend a good portion of our summer... They certainly are busy birds, always scavenging for food... we often put bread by the shore at Cockburn Island and we sit on the deck and watch them fly over to check things out first, and then they dive in for pick up... They crow the whole time, as long as there is food... I love it... this is who I am...
