It is fairly large and they can cause quite a bit of chaos wherever they decide to home... but they are Canada's iconic bird and we must show respect. They are fascinating to watch in their formation while flying high in the sky. There is no mistaking their sound as it is so unique... We had a small family frequent our waterfront property this spring and this is when I decided that I would paint this bird, so I included it into my painting series... I love the way it turned out...
